Indie ebook “hall of fame” site tracks the best reviewed self-published books

If you’re looking for something new to read that’s not from one of the big publishing houses, check out the Indie eBook Hall of Fame blog. It’s a bare bones site set up by Joanna, a Teleread contributor and fan of indie books, to help highlight the good stuff from all the not-so-good stuff.

Joanna’s strategy for filtering out the crap is to require that every book on the site has to have at least three full length reviews from independent book review blogs, and must be available in multiple formats. If she lists the book, she also provides links to those original reviews so you can quickly see what previous readers think.

Right now she’s just got slightly over a dozen titles listed, but judging by her ambitious list of “coming soon” categories, she plans on adding lots more. (If you know of a title that qualifies, she asks that you let her know.) It might be worth bookmarking and checking in on every once in a while.
